Harps and Angles (2003)
Harps and Angles (w/ Who is Like God?s) involves four piano (harp) tables, an equally sized (4’x4’) aquatic wave table, camera angles, and a large, composite wall projection for the foregoing. Any resonance with “Harps and Angels” in religious mythology is purely cheap exploitation by 2 people who may or may not be god-like.
Who is Like God?s is a duo consisting of 2 Michaels (Pestel and Tolson) whose name, according to the ancient Hebrew, means “Who is like God?” Since there are plural Michaels, the name is also plural.
